Summer Rain

A very warm day, just got back from swimming at the pond and it started to rain. Puddles are one of Oliver's favorite things - rain and puddles? I don't think it gets much better.

MPLS 2008

Oliver and I went to Minneapolis for 2 weeks to visit with his Grandfather and Uncle Dane for the 4th and Dane's B-Day. The weather was great and we got a lot of activities and visiting in. Craig joined us for the end of the trip. Here are some pix - a little messy but the pix are there:

OLIVER'S FIRST JUMPS!! He has been working on his jumping for a while now but couldn't get both feet of the ground. After a lot practice and possibly some coaching from Uncle Dane he finally got both feet up!

Father's Day 2008

The original plan was to go to Edaville and spend the afternoon going on rides and eating regrettable fried things. Unfortunately we had a bad weather day so we did the next best thing (?)... the carousel at the mall and Friday's. O-well, father and son were still together!

Watchin' the game

Ryan had a baseball game so we joined to cheer him on. It was a little worky keeping Oliver form the players but Diehl and Craig kept him pretty busy.


It's a little sunny out here - better protect my skin!


After the game we noticed a flat tire! It was no trouble for this crew... I just stood there, thankful the crew was with me.

Visiting...

We finally got it together to visit Greg, Jessica and Evan! It was really fun to see them and watch the kids interact. Unfortunately we were so busy socializing there weren't many photos taken. Sign of a good visit I s'pose. Anyway, here's what we did take:

THE BRONX ZOO


Oliver fell asleep on the way and stayed asleep for a few of the exhibits. It was hot that day - the animals we're extra lazy.


THE MYSTIC AQUARIUM

On the way home from NY we stopped in Mystic to give Oliver a car break. We went for lunch and to the Aquarium, which was way nicer than expected.



Tuckered from all that heat!
