Summer Rain

A very warm day, just got back from swimming at the pond and it started to rain. Puddles are one of Oliver's favorite things - rain and puddles? I don't think it gets much better.

The movie's a little long, about a minute, but very sweet to watch...

Christmas Day

At long last 'The Garden' has arrived! ...This was the favorite gift of the day- fer sure, he must of went in and out of that little door 30 times within the first few minutes!

Then there were the blinking frogs...a definite second favorite...he even made frog cupcakes!

Black Friday at the Mall

We tried to visit Santa but he was dilly dally-ing so we went for the Mall Arcade instead. Sure does bring back memories of the Electric Playhouse!

Garlic Press

I'm not sure what it is about this particular kitchen tool but Oliver takes it every where. To the mall...to the playround...in the car...and all around the house. He keeps good track of it, rarely out of sight.

Stacey and I went the the bathroom for no more that 5 mins. and this is what our children looked like when we got back..

Climber.

Oliver CLIMBED onto this music table himself! Totally unassisted. Don't worry- we were spotting him the whole time. This was not his first attempt but it is the first attempt caught on video. We've got a busy boy...looks like we will have to grow a few extra sets of limbs and eyes!

It was just a matter of time before Myles and Oliver starting to share their snacks. Myles has truly begun to realize the advantages of having this happy little snacker around.

Lights On!

Hmmm... Oliver was supposed to be napping...and suddenly the lights were on and then off again. At first I thought he may have been abducted by aliens. Then I noticed a pudgy little hand appear from behind the partition clicking away at the light switch. I guess it was just a matter of time 'til he figured it out!

Somehow he learned this with out coaching. He was just standing there, holding on, and off he went. He seems pretty steady. Our job is to basically clear his path because he will repeatedly crash into on object (For Example: a highchair) until he gets thru. Hopefully he will work on his steering!

Mall of America

Today was Uncle Dane's 13th birthday. Yes, 13...he is officially a teenager. We spent some of his day today at the Mall of America going on a few rides and having dinner at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. Oliver got to join the party and go on a few rides...he looks very serious when on a ride... not scared..or even worried, just serious.
....chug...chug...choo...choo!!
