After 11 hours, mild contractions yielded no real progress. All day long there has been a steady pattern of ups and downs, but oddly no discomfort to report. During the 12th hour we began noticing some definite cramping and pain- just what we've been waiting for!
That said- Bess has some concerns that after nearly 12 hours of not feeling anything that she is merely "trying" to feel pain. For the record- she is not faking it. It actually does hurt now!
On another positive note there looks to be about 2.5-3 cm of dilation which is a nice incremental difference.
Needless to say- Wednesday 9/20 is not the DOB.
